No Vulnerable IOS on homebrew channel installation?

So im using smash stack on my wii to install homebrew channel and i got as far as it saying the copyright crap and press 1 to continue. then it said that it could not install because there was no vulnerable os. im using 4.3u os version what the heck does that mean and is there a way to fix it?
