I sorta broke them up ?

ok so i was at a rollerdome meeting up with my friends. then i officially met this girl and her boyfriend (i had heard bout them before but i had never met them before). i kinda became friends with the girl that night. so then she left the rollerdome and it was just me her boyfriend and my friend talking. then, the girls boyfriend started talking to me on facebook and then we started talking on the phonee. we talked bout how his gf has been flirting with other guys latley and hes tired of it. anyways a couple days later we were on the phone playin 20 questons and he told me he liked me. i told him i liiked him back. soo then he started sayin he was gunna break up with his gf. i didnt wanna be the reason why they broke up! so he told her he wanted to just be frends. so now i feel bad.. :( and now im scared that his ex will find out he broke up with her for me and then me and her wont be friends and she will be all mean towards me! helpp i really like this guy. but btw me and the girl are barley friends but i still dint want her to hate me. helllpppp
