When i play fifa 10 online mode on pc it is really slow and response time is about 2secs late.how can i fix it?

im playin fifa 10 from my pc and it works fine . but when i play in online mode it suddenly becomes really slow and freezes quite alot . any solutions on how 2 overcome this problem ?
