Was it a mistake buying Windows 7 for my Macbook Pro?

Around when I purchased my laptop I got Windows 7 as I didn't like a few things about it but now I'm starting to wonder. Was it just a waste of money? I barely use it anymore. Only when I have CDs that are Windows compatible only or if there is a problem with the Macintosh OS.
