Would it be possible to use a HDD with a 32-bit OS and a HDD with a 64-bit OS?

It does not matter if your OS is 64 or 32 or 16 bit. It still uses the same file system. All versions of Win7 uses ntfs so if you are upgrading from 32 to 64 then you will be fine as long as you dont format the hard disk(s)
