What wish granting organizations would grant a wish for epilepsy like hers?
My daughter is 14 and was diagnosed with epilepsy a little over 2 years ago. She's had it for much longer, but it went undiagnosed as simply headaches and daydreaming until she started having tonic clonic seizures. Her epilepsy hasn't yet been able to have been completely controlled (tonic clonics only have reduced significantly) and being a 12 year old being diagnosed with epilepsy is very hard. She has had to give up so much because of her epilepsy and complications from it (gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, babysitting, etc). She seems to have stayed at about the same level of intelligence but now needs more attention and help from her teachers at school (she used to be 3 years worth ahead in each class). She has also become much less verbal (not that she can't talk, just doesn't like to and it sounds slurred) and is usually exhausted and losing her balance. Since she's had to make so many sacrifices and she's always in pain, my husband and I would like to give her the one wish she wants, or as close as we can get to it (she LOVES the show Victorious, she wants to meet the cast, especially Ariana Grande) but we're unsure of which organizations might grant her wish for her. We are pretty sure that make a wish will not agree to this as it is not officially "life-threatening" and we would like to know about any other options you know of that would attempt to give her her wish. Thanks so much!
