Hi ive been playin monster hunter freedom unite and i need to know how to play with others step by step how?

i need help to try to figure out step by step how to play with others i go on line i know tht and then u have to be in the same gathering hall and then u pick a quest ant then it be on the board but it onlu shows up on mine not the others
