Game installed in D drive not working... it works when i install it in C drive..?

I installed NFS Most Wanted into my PC D drive.I cant play the game..(it asked for admin rights and got stuck in the middle ...) then i installed the game into my C drive(OS installed) it works fine....... What's the problem HELP ME.............
